Jonas combines about 10 martial arts styles such as Kuksundo (Korean Qi-Gong), Hapkido (Korean self-defense), Aikido, Boxing, Karate (Okinawa) Kendo, Judo, MuayThai, Kali but based on Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Taekwondo, two well-known martial arts that complement each other pretty good. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art based on Judo. Or should we say wrestling, since the biggest part includes what is called ground fighting, but also a lot of takedowns and throws. Taekwondo means ”the way of the foot and the hand” and focuses a lot on developing yourself as a human being where your strength is about taking moral responsibility for what is right and wrong.
When you train with Mindkicker, you get to work hard with techniques to create control, mobility, balance, strength or leverage. There are several countermeasures to learn in one and the same situation. Jonas leads us in warming up, physical training, technique training and of course sparring. Jonas has the ability to have a well-trained eye that, together with feeling and mind, helps us liven things up, which means that you always get the most out of your training sessions.
Quote from a true Mindkicker:
”As a world-class football goalkeeper, I want to be a goalkeeper who plays with calmness, authority and power. This was something that I felt myself to be fully after the last session. The punches felt relaxed and firm yet responsive to what the opponent was doing. I was in control of the uncertain and I dared to unleash the animal within me.”
– Zecira Musovic, from no 21 to no 1 in the Swedish Women’s National Soccer Team
